ooc: so like I'm too lazy to use my usual template. also because my character lacks any decent pictures but his younger self has like tons... [/style]
[style=color: #C24641; font-family: georgia; text-transform: lowercase; text-align: center; text-shadow: #000000 1px 1px 1px; font-style: italic; padding-right: 3px; width: 400px; margin-bottom:3px]comrades,[/style] [style=color: #585858; font-style: georgia; text-transform: lowercase; font-size: 10px; line-height: 9px; width: 370px; text-align: justify; text-align: right; margin-bottom: 5px; padding: 2px; border-top: #000000 2px solid;]he will tolerate anything but selfishness and misdeeds[/style]Becoming Chase's friend, easy. Hanging out with him? That depends. Expecting sympathy and comfort? Don't.
Anyone who's generally good can be on good terms with Chase. He does a lot of volunteer works and he always trains diligently to make his dreams a reality. His life revolves around dragons, honor, his hometown, his family, and the people. He's mostly excited about the dragons and you could tell that he's almost like worshiping them he probably does. Don't confuse him with some excited kid though. Chase is more than fit and can seriously fight back even without his Pokemon. Training dragons is no joke so Chase is more than physically able. Have you seen his muscles? I WISH I HAD.
But aside from the general friendliness, being friends with Chase has drawbacks. He does not hang out outside of training. He's all work people. He's always on the move to work. Yeah, he loves his job so much and he's been doing it since he was freaking seven. An enthusiasm with dragons will surely help keep up with him but aside from that, it's a long, gradual relationship, just like with his friends when he was a teenager. At least if you're in trouble, Chase will swoop in to save you, no questions about that.
But there's more. Chase is good...lawfully good. He once criticized his friend who had committed an act of murder. Chase was careless with his words and asserted his belief without regarding his position as a supposed friend and the sensitivity of the topic. As a result, they became enemies. Chase regrets what he said but he stands firm with what he believes in. He will not be the one to offer sympathy or comfort. He is strict and determined. Perhaps you may think of it as harsh but not in his eyes.
Also, he does not like jokes. Not a fun guy to be with but at least he's not generic or 2D. You can expect friendship with Chase to be quite different.
[style=color: #C24641; font-family: georgia; text-transform: lowercase; text-align: center; text-shadow: #000000 1px 1px 1px; font-style: italic; padding-right: 3px; width: 400px; margin-bottom:3px]villains,[/style] [style=color: #585858; font-style: georgia; text-transform: lowercase; font-size: 10px; line-height: 9px; width: 370px; text-align: justify; text-align: right; margin-bottom: 5px; padding: 2px; border-top: #000000 2px solid;]good vs evil, black and white[/style]Simple enough. It didn't go well with his former friend but if you break the law and not try to make amends, he will make you an enemy. He's in for forgiveness if the person is really willing to change.
Chase sometimes thinks he's always the right one. He can get really mad at people who don't listen to him or do not accept his way of thinking. It's part of his personality to rush through things. He wants things to be done immediately and has the idea his forceful ways are the best for it. He does cool off later on and tries to apologize.
[style=color: #C24641; font-family: georgia; text-transform: lowercase; text-align: center; text-shadow: #000000 1px 1px 1px; font-style: italic; padding-right: 3px; width: 400px; margin-bottom:3px]hearts,[/style] [style=color: #585858; font-style: georgia; text-transform: lowercase; font-size: 10px; line-height: 9px; width: 370px; text-align: justify; text-align: right; margin-bottom: 5px; padding: 2px; border-top: #000000 2px solid;]make him think of anything else but dragons[/style]This is Chase's type: strong, independent, responsible, good, beautiful (he loves long hair), and poised. He easily blushes when he's near sexy women and makes an excuse to leave asap. Chase would especially appreciate someone who loves dragons and share his belief of making them known for their goodness and grace.
If you're interested, feel free to try. Flirting and seduction works!
[style=color: #C24641; font-family: georgia; text-transform: lowercase; text-align: center; text-shadow: #000000 1px 1px 1px; font-style: italic; padding-right: 3px; width: 400px; margin-bottom:3px]others,[/style] [style=color: #585858; font-style: georgial; text-transform: lowercase; font-size: 10px; line-height: 9px; width: 370px; text-align: justify; text-align: right; margin-bottom: 5px; padding: 2px; border-top: #000000 2px solid;]what business do you have?[/style]Anything else I could think of are two things: training and apprentices.
If you want to get strong, just join in Chase and the two of you would be climbing mountains and swimming against the current. His trainings are always exerting and his strict attitude makes it worse. He has A LOT of knowledge about dragons too and the wild. Rangers would be happy to be with Chase too. He can also deal with an apprentice and have actually done that in the past.
I'm up for anything for Chase, mostly friends and people to work with. A past with him is good for me too. He's popular with small communities because of the favors he's done.

i wonder how chase would react to someone who's got no sense of justice. idk, maybe they could have some kind of past together since zafaar isn't exactly the type to actively help someone or do something ... but they should do some kind of training together. xD zafaar is super-passive and stuff, so if he's some kind of apprentice (or whatever, really, tanz D< surprise me) ... yeah. i'm not sure where this is going, but having some kind of past with chase should be fun. and zafaar would be less dry of a character /nodnod

/smirks too We're putting two serious people together? xD but I see traits in Zafaar that...Chase would reprimand him about. I can imagine Chase would be making speeches about enthusiasm and responsibility (then making metaphors about DRAGONS!) while Zafaar's just..."k. bored now." A past sounds great! Around what age would Zafaar be? Chase has been travelling since he was twelve and he's studied about Pokemon since...he was born xD being born in Blackthorn City and under talented Trainers, he's always aspired to be a great Trainer. And when Chase was young, he was pretty much the same, being so serious and diligent. The only difference is that the Chase now is braver and and more decisive and has abs!As for the lack of sense of justice...well, Chase would scowl and tell Zafaar that "No! You have to uphold your obligations as a citizen! You must always seek the well-being of others and report to the authority! >8|" but it's not as bad if Zafaar actually commits a crime. That would be where Chase puts his foot down - friend, family, or not.

lol yesh. chase should lecture zafaar about how the world works and notice that he's drinking tea AND TOTALLY IGNORING HIM. zafaar? he once traveled around with his friend before that guy ran away from home kinda :I so he might have been left in blackthorn and they'd have met there. i assume zafaar would be like fourteen-ish so chase woulda been eighteen (and wiser <w<).
sense of justice (lack of it, actually) ftw. zafaar would be like ":I there's nothing wrong" and chase would flip out on him. then he'd still say "there's NOTHING wrong. at all :I" and be subjected to punishment/training. xDD maaaaaybe saladin (his charmander) knows dragon claw because of chase? owo it'd be a good explanation.

/took a while to reply back because of roflmao cbox
That sounds cool. Zafaar would one day learn of justice >8| or go mad from Chase.
Eighteen...oooh, perfect. Chase has been welcomed back to Blackthorn City when he was at that age. He was also training Fou-Lu, his Haxorus, in the Dragon Cave for two and a half months. Maybe they could have met there? And trained together including helping Zafaar teach Dragon Claw? That way, fast forward in the present, it might just be like old times xD and...both of them are still the same haha.

sounds good in the present i assume nothing's changed. 'cept chase's got a LOT more vocal about justice and dragons and zafaar's more enthusiastic about tea lmao. yeah, the dragon cave's fine xD chase coulda thought he was a trespasser. "get out of the cave of JUSTICE /dragonbreath" lol orrrr we could figure out the details when we thread wheee~

Thread it is! Where who what how when now? If Chase is starting the thread, he'll be in the middle of a training or a volunteer work. Because he doesn't do anything else aside from that

Therel&&Chase
How about these two?I feel like if they meet, they would become enemies. A Rivalry even. I can see Therel disliking his attitude and way of thinking. Therel doesn't like to listen to other people's ideas, he couldn't care less. If he thinks his way is the right way, then thats the way things are going to be done. Therel will get pissed and try to battle him. It can be an on going thing between the two. Every time they meet they must battle, regardless of the situation they may be in. What do you think? (:

Funny how alike they are though. I think it'd be nicer if the two meet for the first time. They're both careful, responsible, and determined. I think they can meet each other while training then Chase could bring up his ideals and that's when Therel starts hating on him? Chase wouldn't like the criticism but he wouldn't take it very personally and he'd still try to defend his idea. Then maybe we can have a battle xD

Therel&&Chase
They are a lot alike O: Maybe at first things could be going pretty smooth, but then their ideas and thought processes clash and they get irritated with each other and become a friendly rivalry? I can see them getting along most the time up until they get upset at the other's ideas. Once that happens they can go out in a battle, or some kind of contest. eg: WHO CAN RUN ACROSS HOENN FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER FIRST IS THE WINNER! Or something stupid like that xD

Pfft. If Therel can actually keep up, then Chase will certainly make him a rival. And most important of all, if he actually beats his dragon Pokemon.
Shall we start then? xD You or me? Chase is just either plain training anywhere in the mountains, seas, and caves. If not, he's walking around the city with his dragon team to have humans get used to them, or he could be doing volunteer works. I can make him pop anywhere with a good excuse so anywhere is fine for me XD

lol, this'd be an interesting dynamic for therel and zafaar if he does this with chase~ he's travelling with him and cap, after all :3 since zafaar trained under chase before going with you guys, i think it's possible. or chase could start comparing zafaar to therel. lol drama?

I was ready to start in my last post already xD Would you like to start or me? If I would, I'd be somewhere training/doing good work/walking around cities with my Pokemon.
Woah I'm starting to refer to myself as Chase xD
