Oliver was obtained as an egg from a trade with her cousin and was eventually hatched in Olivine City, hence the name Oliver. Queenie was caught somewhere in Johto as a Slowking and is one of Skylar's closest pokemon in terms of relationships.  COLBALT︱STEEL/PSYCHIC︱METAGROSS︱GENDERLESS (THOUGH ACTS MALE) Colbalt was Skylar's first pokemon and faithful friend. He was received as a gift from her Aunt and Uncle as a starter pokemon for her journey. Colbalt is rather cold and aloof to other pokemon, but is protective of those he considers a friend.  KIRI︱NORMAL/PSYCHIC︱GIRAFARIG︱FEMALE Kiri and a very jolly and playful pokemon. She loves pulling harmless pranks on unsuspecting trainers for a laugh or two. Kiri was the first pokemon that Skylar actually caught by herself when she was younger.  MILES︱PSYCHIC/FIGHTING︱GALLADE︱MALE For a Gallade, he is very energetic and slightly eccentric. He loves competing in battles and constantly trains for upcoming battles every time the team is supposed to be resting. Skylar caught Miles as a Kirlia near somewhere near Petalburg City in Hoenn.  CAELUS︱PSYCHIC/FLYING︱XATU︱MALE This Xatu is a shy, introverted pokemon who hardly ever says a peep, which is the complete opposite of his trainer. He prefers to fight in battles alone rather than a triple or double battle, and is very independent and mature. Caelus was caught as a Natu during one of Skylar's visit of the Sevii Islands. She looked like a fine young lady, both well groomed and dressed. Her dark brown hair fell down to her chest and were styled into 2 pigtails and tied with a ribbon. What she was carrying on her shoulder was a bag that her mother passed down to her to use for storing different supplies she would need for her trek. Luckily, Alice was the last one of the passengers to depart of the boat, and avoided getting shoved by anxious passengers who couldn't wait to be on land again. The girl was a trainer and after being enchanted by the tales her younger brother told her, Miss Wilson had decided to come to the pokemon lab located here to receive a starter pokemon. Even though it was her very first time going somewhere without her parents less than a mile away, she felt slightly confident of herself. Alice was a mature enough girl and could surely handle whatever was out there. The scent of sea in the air followed by the cool sea breeze ruffling the ends of her dress made it feel like the quaint little town was welcoming her and wishing her good luck on her new journey. Birchfall seemed like a nice little town to live in, and her mother would definitely approve of spending her own days here...If it weren't for the fact that this there was also a harbor here she would definitely hate the noise of boats coming in and out of the dock to unload things. The sun was still out, although its rays don't feel as harsh. The clear blue skies with relatively few clouds in sight made it a great day to start her own pokemon journey like her parents and brother had started. As she made her way down the wharf and into the tow, she could see all sorts of boats parked to the side. Next to the boats were sailors of all sizes, some were big and muscular and others were smaller. Along side many of them were their pokemon. Most of the pokemon she saw next to the sailors were an odd looking round creature with a swirl on its belly. She continued to stroll her way out of the wharf and back on solid ground. Alice had been stuck the boat for more than several hours as it made its way through rougher seas, the boat tended to rock a bit. She was just getting used to the swaying motion the boat made, and it felt odd to have steady, non-moving ground underneath her feet. However, the little lady was glad to be back on land again and started to search for the pokemon lab. Alice was very unfamiliar with the region and opted to ask for help from one of the locals. Spotting an older looking man walk by, she stopped him to ask him where it is. "Can you point me in the direction of the lab, please?" Alice inquired. The older man nodded yes and pointed in the direction of a somewhat aged looking building. After saying her thanks and apologizing for stopping the man continued toward the lab with her bag by her side. When Alice was at the front door, she knocked on the door a couple times to check if anyone was inside. As she patiently waited for any sign that someone was there, she began to ponder about what pokemon she would receive. Her brother had told her about how the professor had multiple species she could choose from. Getting to choose from several different pokemon pleased her. At least she would get to choose a starter she liked, that way she didn't have to get stuck with a partner she didn't like or disliked her. Alice remembered her brother's starter, he chose some type of grass pokemon as his partner. What was its name again? It started with a 'T'. Was it 'Treetwig' or 'Turcko'? I think it was a called a Treecko. The Treecko was a cool little creature, although it wasn't the one for her. The trainer wasn't too fond of grass types anyway. Their aroma was lovely and heaven to her nose, but the smell would often make her drowsy at times. I wonder what kind of pokemon the professor has. Maybe they'll have something that suits my tastes. Perhaps the professor will have some water type pokemon for me to pick from? [/style] |
