Akio is a nice kid. He really is, he can be neurotic with the punishment thing sometimes, but he is kind-hearted and a loyal friend. He is a bit shy or cynic when he first meets someone but once he gets to know them better, he becomes friendly and a bit overprotective of them. He do not usually intend to be, but he's a funny person due to his serious aspect combined with his hopeless clumsiness.
friends
Patience is the key. Ako isn't a very sociable person, he's a quiet person, the type that doesn't like to go around showing their feelings or talking to anyone as if they had been friends forever. But he's not a bad person, it's just the way he is. He is quite objective when talking to someone, so having a conversation with him can be a little...difficult, if you just met.
enemies
Pretty much anyone who goes against his principles and ideals. Thieves, intolerant and cruel people, basically. He has a problem...controlling himself when it comes to people like that, he needs to punish them. Besides that, some rivals can be categorized as enemies too, not all of them obviously, but some that are overly confident, intolerant and competitive.
romance
Give up. Yes, give up, there's simply no way someone will distract him from his goal. This is pretty clear in his mind. Someone now would just spoil things, he can't afford to fall in love right now or else he might not be able to fulfill his objectives. It's not impossible, though, but he will offer some resistence.
others
Akio has a brother and a sister who he left behind when he set on his journey, maybe that could've inspired they to do the same? Besides that anything else that doesn't fit the other categories are welcome here, such as acquaintances and...stalkers?

Oh boy. I think Chase and Akio would definitely go along but...
Well for starters, they're both responsible men who have a strong sense of good and justice. While Akio can be judgmental, Chase has a poor sense of understanding. He is quick to jump to conclusions and is difficult to be swayed, but not impossible to be convinced eventually, like a person proving himself to be good. I think this is where they're difference might be. Chase could forgive a criminal as long as he is willing to make reforms but I think Akio would find it harder? Chase would agree the criminals have to be punished as a way of accepting their mistakes and taking the consequences of their crimes but never in the...vengeful way of sort. I have a feeling Akio would go out of his ways to smite someone while Chase would be able to control the situation more maturely. When things get personal though, Chase could be controlled by his emotions but he regrets this and tries to calm down later.
Chase wouldn't have a hard time talking with Akio. He's serious guy and Chase is goal-oriented too. He does nothing else but his work and wouldn't really ask about personal questions. In fact, the only way to have a discussion with him if it's about training, helping people, and dragons >>
With Akio being a bit clumsy, Chase might be a bit concerned xD I can imagine the two to get along with training...and man I think you need to meet Zafaar just for the lols. I don't think he expected to see another Chase in his life. How to meet though? We could go about it in many ways :3

» Well...they do have many things in common, it would be interesting to see how they would get along. Akio's a bit shy, though so I imagine it would be great if they meet...I don't know, in a dangerous situation? Or perhaps when Akio tries to catch a dragon-type?

» Thankyuu! Well, they're about the same age and have a lot of things in common like they were both born in Ecruteak and both are determined, I don't see why they wouldn't get along. Akio's a bit shy though, so it would be better if they meet in a small competition or something (if that's possible?). Also I noticed...Maki doesn't like bug-types but...his only pokemon is a Scizor...?

Hm, I'd like it if you've met Symphony. He's the type of person who's easy to get along with. Not just being friends, I was hoping that they could be friendly rivals since they are both coordinators. Honestly, i wonder what their two fashions would be like. Makes you wonder right?
Anyways, with Symphony's talkative attitude will knock him out of his quiet streak, or make him snap. Either way, Symphony would let it roll off his back water off a duck's (Must be a feather thing for them huh? XD).

Catching a Dragon-type sounds like an interesting way to start with. Chase would definitely be stalking watching how Akio would do it. Do you have a specific dragon Pokemon in mind? Because if Akio is interested in a Dratini/Dragonair, they could meet up in Blackthorn City. Chase would want to test Akio first if he's worthy entering the Dragon's Den before giving him passage.

Not about their personatily, they're...well, not total opposites, but they're quite different, but they both have an altaria, a milotic just like 70% of the coordinators here and a n ampharos well, akio will get one, eventually. Yeah, I think they should meet in a contest, that'll make things really interesting.

» So, he goes to Blackthorn City and fights Chase. If he wins he'll be allowed into the Dragon's Den where he will get a dratini. Cloud will RP the temple master, who will give Akio the dratini after the battle. Everything's ok? The two will argue about whether or not Akio can get into the Dragon's Den, and the elders --cloud-- come and say he may enter by proving himself, if he wins, then depending on how the elders see the battle from Akio, he'll either get a Dratini, or at the least be allowed in to try and catch one.

Did Cloud agree to giving it? I was thinking Akio would just let be in the cave and do a wild Pokemon catching. If Cloud gave his consent though to give the Pokemon as a prize, the story sounds good! We could remove the elder parts though. I think Chase would just want to test Akio's strength and see a bit of his character if he deserves a chance against a rare creature. He'll probably just block Akio's path and tell him he may not past until he defeats him xD
