Rin had decided to take a break on his Pokemon journey which found him and his team sprawled out on route three on a rather comfy patch of grass. The trainer had purposely picked a spot by some trees for the shade and something to lean on. Near by him Lars was curled up asleep. The only other Pokemon out of their ball was Styx. The playful Quilava was restless and wanted to go explore the treeline a bit more in depth but Rin wouldn't allow it. He wanted to head off again soon, they weren't far off a cave, and he felt as though they needed to be rested before going through. He had become hesitant where caves were concerned, in no part thanks to Law, his troublesome Steelix. He'd never step foot in one again unprepared for what might be lurking in the darkness. Rin couldn't help but doze off as he laid in the grass beside his Dragonair with his hands behind his head. Styx took this as an opportunity to go for a bit of an explore. He'd be back before his trainer even knew he was gone, surely. Rin often let his Pokemon out of their balls to have freedom, just not all at once unless he could keep a good eye on everyone. He'd planned to do so in the next town or just outside the next town. Rin didn't often like to keep Lars out in full view of others but the dragon type was so stubborn when it came to his poke-ball, it really was quite frustrating. In may ways the trainer couldn't blame his companions, he hated being cooped up inside and imagined that being in a ball felt much the same way. He would really have loved to have all of his team out at once but most of his Pokemon were quite large and no one ever reacted well to a Gyarados, as unfortunate as that was. Styx ventured deeper into the treeline, careful to keep an eye on his trainer to make sure that when he woke up he could dash back to Lars like nothing ever happened. Lars was in fact not asleep and merely resting his eyes, unlike his trainer and was keeping an active track on the mischievous fire Pokemon. Being Rin's first Pokemon Lars liked to think of himself as the leader of the team, even though he knew Ao and Law would like to have said otherwise. He felt responsible for the other Pokemon Rin owned, especially Styx, the fire Pokemon wasn't that old, still quite young and often wandered off. He caused trouble when he really didn't mean to do so. Lars often found himself unable to stay angry with the small fiery thing. If Styx decided to venture any further away from Rin the dragon was going to go march right over there and tell off the little guy for disobeying an order. He really didn't want to have to wake Rin up if he didn't have to do so. He knew he could fetch the fire Pokemon and be back in his exact position without much effort. Rin dreamed as he lay in the grass. He dreamed that he was on the back of Raz, flying high above the clouds where there was true freedom. He didn't want the dream to end and come crashing back to reality, but such was life. Notes: Gah this was crappy sorry, promise my posts will improve. I always have such trouble naming threads, always such trouble. Let me know if you'd like anything changed and please excuse grammar and spelling, the Australian isn't always compatible with the American and I tend to get things confused. Also, as I admitted to Tanz before, I've never participated in a Pokemon RP in my life so bare with me/let me know if I make any mistakes and I'll fix them right away! With such a troublesome Pokemon seen as the leader of a ghost filled Pokemon team things were never really normal for the red head girl. Even on a nice day like this George’s mind was clouded; filled with the only thought she ever had when with her Pokemon: escape. Whoever had said mans best friend was Pokemon had never met George and her so called companions. It was as if the devil himself had sent these Pokemon into her life to torture and torment her until her time was up.
From behind her the girl could hear childish yelling, toys being thrown and the sound of the daycare assistant yelling at the children to get back inside the building. Walking along Unova’s 3rd route was something trainers did all the time, and because of this it was common to have the children at the day care to greet trainers with open arms and cute faces. But when it came to George walking along the path with Rui something went horribly… horribly wrong.
For some reason Rui thought messing with the small children would be amusing as her trainer hung back on the route. Once George walked past the daycare the yelling from the many child met her ears, all their faces held a sad and angry expression while their hands gripped onto broken toys. When one little boy tossed a broken action figure at George’s feet things started to click slowly; it wasn’t until she noticed a snickering Zorua standing a few paces above her that things really clicked. And when the light bulb flashed on in her mind that was when she ran, fast. Even though they were children they could – and by the looks of their faces would – hurt her for getting revenge on what Rui had done.
Once at good distance away from the angry children George leaned forward, hands gripping her shaky knees firmly as she tried to fill her lungs with air. Ever since she left home that day she had ran more in the moments after meeting Rui then in her whole life, and man did George hate it. But even if she hated it she could never get rid of Rui – not because of personal attachment but because that sly fox always seemed to know what the girl’s plan of escape was before George even knew herself.
“R-Rui… w-what did you do to those k-kids…” George pushed out between a large intake of fresh air. Glancing her red eyes up from under her bangs her vision met that of a snickering Rui. The soft laughter was all George needed – she had already been down this road with her countless of times. “Zoru, Zorua~” Rui replied, her poke speak voice sounding smug and amused at the situations outcome. Giving her trainer a quick smirk Rui hopped onto all fours before running down the path, unfazed by the running she had done moments ago.
Giving a quick breath George stood up and ran after the shiny Pokemon; what would happen if she found another person further up the trail? What would Rui do then? The girl had no limits that was something George knew for sure. Running up a small hill George looked down to see a sleeping boy and dragon type under a few of the routes trees. Sure enough Rui was close by, dashing towards the boy as if he had a treat tied to his face. “R-Rui… o-oh god, please don’t…” George muttered, gripping onto the hem of her sweater with her shaking hands. Slowing making it down the hill George kept a good eye on the black and blue Zorua as she got closer.
Keeping an eye on her trainer Rui ran up to the only person on the route. She had already broke all those children’s toys looking like her trainer and having those little kids run out yelling at George was the best reward she could have got. With a small flicker of her tail Rui waited for George to come down the hill, inching closer and closer to her before running up and jumping onto the sleeping boys stomach. Giving a quick snicker Rui hopped off the boy and dashed behind the tree he once snoozed under. “Kikikikiki.”
Seeing Rui do what she had done left George in a state of panic. Such a jump must have hurt the boy not to mention he looked like he was sound asleep before Rui came a long. Giving a large gulp that hung in the center of her throat George slowly stepped forward, tightening her grip on her shirt with every step. “A-are you… o-okay?” George muttered, her voice low and quivery as she got closer to the boy, “I-I’m sorry…”

It was by far one of the nicest dreams he'd had in a while. Then things suddenly took a turn for the worst. Raz suddenly hit a pocket of bad air, causing their previously smooth flight to become horribly bumpy and rocky. This current continued until Raz was forced to make a rapid decent, this sudden movement threw Rin off of his Pokemon and hurling toward the ground at a blinding speed. He screamed as he fell, heart racing, wishing he'd be saved, or killed before he hit the ground, to save himself from the split second sickening feeling of being killed. This horrible moment never came however. Rin was woken by a vicious pounding on his chest. Whoever or whatever was doing this to him put enough force behind their blow to wind him somewhat. Rin jumped up in shock, followed closely by his Dragonair who shot up and began scanning the area for whatever assaulted his trainer, fury in his eyes. Rin's brain, still in sleep mode, was extremely slow to process what was going on around him. "W-Wha, what!" Rin coughed out, holding his stomach as he looked around still in a hazy daze. He rubbed at his face to get himself to wake up but it wasn't working very well. As he scanned the area Rin came face to face with a rather cute young girl. Her appearance stopped him in his tracks and he couldn't help but stare at her, albeit a slightly bit freaked out as to where she came from and why she was saying sorry, and what she had to do with the assault of his stomach. "W-wha where's the fire?" Rin asked no one in particular, his head still not functioning correctly after his nap. It took a while for his brain to register her tone of voice but when it did, he did a double take and any and all anger that was cooking washed away. The girl seemed genuinely sorry, and nervous as hell, though a part of him still couldn't fathom why, she of all people, felt like suddenly bouncing on his chest... if that's what happened. "It's okay, don't worry about it?" Rin yawned, and hung his body forwards, feeling that post-wake up crappyness. His voice was pitched in a question but he didn't mean to direct it that way, more confused and out-of-sorts than anything. Deciding that this girl was the cause of the disturbance Lars leaped forward, an angry look on his face, Rin was quick to reprimand the Pokemon before he did something stupid and scared the poor girl away. "Rin, that's enough she said she was sorry ." The dragon Pokemon gave the girl one last scowl before he moved off behind his trainer, still scanning the area. "I'm sorry miss, he can get a bit over protective." Rin explained with another yawn. Over by the treeline Styx saw the whole thing, he began creeping back to Lars' side, so he wouldn't get into any more trouble than he was already in, doing his best to try and avoid the scary-looking Pokemon that had jumped onto Rin's chest. This was the part George dreaded the most; the apology. It wasn’t as if she was to prideful to do so – she was actually quite the opposite of that – but the aura after Rui’s little disaster was always so, threatening. Not that George could blame them. After what Rui did to most people George would be furious too but still… it wasn’t fair to blame her. George wasn’t the commander to those actions; she wasn’t even the commander in where she walked. It was all Rui. Every time.
Paying no attention to the dragonair next to the boy George kept her worried eyes locked on the gray haired boy, hands shaking and her eyes filled with fear educed tears. He looked like he’d damage if he decided to attack her, either with his Pokemon or fists, and just the thought of the pain she’d feel sent a large tremor through her already shaky body.
Hearing the statement of a fire George couldn’t help but give a small smile. It was funny how that was one of his first words after getting rudely interrupted. But even with the small amount of amusement in her system George still looked like the nervous wreck she was. Locking her eyes on the boys George hung her gaze down for second, her cheeks flushing with a tiny blush.
Hearing him tell her everything was all right was what brought the red heads head up. It was rare to fine people who’d wave off Rui’s antics and not want to punch George in the face for not being able to control her Pokemon. Or… in the case of the daycare children, chuck their broken toys at her. Before George could give a sigh of relief and apologize yet again to the boy the Dragonair George had kept out of her attention leapt forward towards her, a displeased and angry expression plastered all over the Pokemons face.
Giving a small scream George jumped a half a step back before bracing her body for some sort of attack. Eyes clenched as tight as her shaking hands she could just image in the pulsating feeling of getting hit, possibly even bleeding from whatever was about to happen to her.
"lars, that's enough she said she was sorry ."
Opening one of her eyes after hearing the boys voice speak up, George looked to see the Dragonair stop in its track before scowling and returning to his post behind the boy. Shaking her head slowly George ducked her gaze away from the boy yet again, “N-no… it’s fine…” she stuttered, biting down on her lower lip softly, “A-are you alright?… I-I’m sorry for disturbing your s-sleep…”
Standing ideally by while all this happened Rui sat still, unpleased with the events that unfolded before her. She wanted more… action. The long blue lizard thing getting ready to attack George was the highlight of everything she had set up but even so it was stopped short by the gray haired boy she had jumped on. Letting her right ear twitch backwards at the slight noise next to her the shiny Zorua turned her head to see another Pokemon walk next to her and heading towards the two trainers. “Zoru…
[/i]” she gave a soft hum, flicking her bushy tail. Yawning Rui stretched her body, making sure to keep her eyes peered on the fire Pokemon. Maybe he’d be more fun to play with? With a small nod of the head at her thought Rui leapt forward, u-turning so she’d be running right up on the Pokemon from behind; “ Zorua~![/i]” she yelped happily, landing right on the back side of the Quilava after leaping. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - notes:: AUG I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND IM SUPER DUPER SORRY IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO POST!
