Symphony looked to be quite determined and ready for something important. "Alto! Rise to the sky and begin with Mist." He calls out with enthusiasm. "Aaalllriii! He responds. Its cotton like wings unfolds from it sides kicking up dust and dirt as it did. It showed off it's strength, obviously it was practicing its strength to peacock to the judges. He then flaps its wings once to the ground and took off into the sky. Being many feet up in the sky, it took its time. Alto's eyes closed as it pulls it wings in to him and then whips them out to its side. It lifts its head up and opens it beak, slowly letting out a thick, and somewhat mystical looking fog on the land "Lovely first step Alto. Hm, let's see, the next thing that we should do would have to be mist then sing." His trainer calls out, unknown that something may be watching them during their practice performance. [/style]

[WILD PKMN]

A little ways away from the young man and his Altaria, a mischievous little Pokémon stood. It was watching the duo from a behind a tree and found the show they were putting on quite amazing. It's eyes wide, it got a brilliant idea.

Jumping out from behind the tree and firing a Will-o-Wisp attack, the little orange-red Pokémon appeared. It wasn't however aiming it's attack at the Altaria. It was firing it into the air in the same direction, but not too close to the cotton-winged Pokémon. Before the trainer or his Pokémon could react, it shot off a Fire Blast attack directly into the middle of the small blue flames. The five floating flame orbs, connected to the five points of the kanji that the Fire Blast attack created.

Directly after the first two attacks, the little Pokémon was in the air, heading directly for the glowing kanji, using a Rollout attack. When the three attacks all connected together, a rather large explosion was the cause, however it was more like a firework than just a normal explosion.

Landing virtually unharmed, the little Pokémon turned it's head to the trainer, and smiled brightly at it's work.

He saw a pokemon come out of no where and literally show off its move in a contest style. "Oh...my gosh..." He says sounding slight dumbfounded. He was just...in awe so it seemed. The Altaria lands next to Symphony and looks up at him before folding back his right wing. His left wing poking its trainer. "Tari? Taria al?" He asks. Alto then switches his attention from his trainer to the pokemon who came in to show off. "Um, you there. Little fire type. You broke my trainer!" He shouts to it sounding sincerely worried. "That...was amazing! Come on! Alto, we're going to catch that pokemon! Darumaka, will you accept my challenge...contest style? I wanna see what you got!" The ambitious trainer calls out with his left hand index finger pointing at it. [/style]

The little Darumaka, smiled brightly and wiggled her finger. "Did not, he's just amazed that I'm better than you are, that's all," she said, her eyes closed and head tilted a little away in a snoody way. When the trainer challenged her to a contest style battle, shy seemed very surprised. She hadn't expected a battle at all, let alone a contest style battle.

Luckily for the trainer, Darumaka was more than happy to oblige and nodded her head, still smiling brightly. "Daru, daru daru, maka. Darumaka!" she said, lowering her head with determination in her eyes.

You are not even in my league. My league is far higher than yours you little-" Alto starts off. He was quiet for a moment, but it remained true, he was upset by the smug and conceited Darumaka. "Alto, start off with Sing then move into a Mist attack." Symphony commands. He obviously had a good idea. With Alto being with him since it was a Swablu, he knew exactly what to do. Make it grand, and make it effective and beautiful. "Alto, you know what time it is." "Ataria Al!!" (Showtime in pokespeak) He shouts aloud. His wings quickly unfolds with dust and dirt kicking up. He then lifts its wings into the air and then, with great power, whips them down, jetting itself into the air with little effort. Once it reached the air, it performed the Sing attack, with the notes appearing around it. They were in bright, dreamy-like colors as it opened its beak. Slowly a mist then rolls out from it before he waved its head around, producing a very thick fog with the notes floating around to put Darumaka to sleep. It was a scene of beauty and mystery, like a foggy sky with lights riding on it, just barely visible to see. [/style]

[WILD PKMN]

Being caught off guard, the Darumaka, jumped back, watching as the Mist attack hid the notes from the Sing attack. She was amazed at how beautiful the attack was, but knew she had to counter it or she'd be done before the show even began.

Quickly, she used her Uproar attack, causing such a loud commotion that the notes within the mist were blown away. However, they were blown away in such a way that they looked more like shooting stars than shimmering lights. She was very pleased with this. "Daru dar," she said, wiggling her finger as the Uproar attack faded. What she was actually doing however, was using the move Taunt.

If it worked, then both Mist and Sing would be rendered useless for a short while, and Alto's attacks would have to actually damage her, which would likely hurt both the trainer and the Pokémon's pride in using beautiful attacks and combinations, that may rely on attacks they could no longer use.

He placed his right hand at his chin and rubs it then snaps his fingers. "I think I got it! Alto! Take into the sky then use Safeguard and Hidden Power! It wanna see a contest move, let's give it one heck of a contest move." He states whipping his right hand index finger at his Alto. He was getting pumped and it was really starting to get fun. Alto nods and takes off into the air once more. He's getting over the fact that Darumaka got it with Taunt. It really peeved him off. He wanted to wipe that smug smirk off her face, but more than likely, that's her personality. As he got into the air, his body was enveloped with a soft green light which made his body shimmer and shown that he was being greatly taken care of in manners of grooming. Small orbs of light then begin to appear around it, many of them spiraling around him then begins to descend down at Darumaka in the form of a barrage. Before they did shoot down at him, they accented the glow and beauty of Alto. [/style]
