((nemo, this for ya))
celadon was the city of fun and games. it was a city that had a shopping center, game center - just like goldenrod - a gym, and so much more. it was pretty damn impossible to finish touring the place in one day or so, but somehow, zafaar and ikram had managed it, at the expense of the pikachu's interests and temper. she wasn't in the least happy with the fact that they were forced to skip several floors of the shopping complex when there was a power outage - zafaar had told her that it was counted as going to the place, but she begged to differ.
however, she was still perched atop his shoulder, licking a popsicle that the trainer had bought her a moment ago to stop her complaining. he was stern and stubborn like her sometimes, but she knew that he had a soft spot for her. ikram hummed happily under her breath as the trainer waded through the crowds of people gathering in front of a restaurant, eager to join their all-you-can-eat competition. the city was certainly a place with many sights to see and explore - not to mention the fact that it never slept, even at night.
the boy stifled a yawn as he sat himself on the bench and let his other pokémon out. khalif floated serenely above him, slightly bothered by the sun but not about to complain; it was the lack of water that made him a little uncomfortable, but due to being partially of the flying-type, he had no trouble getting used to the heat. he was thankful when ikram offered him a lick of the popsicle; he chuckled and shook his head as zafaar glanced at him with a hint of a smile within his usually serious eyes.
"so it's a sunny day and i don't wanna be outside," said zafaar, "and there's only so many places to go." his gaze was directed away from the pikachu, who had sat bolt upright and stared at him. "how about the game center?" it was only with his pokémon that he only felt truly at home, and that his trust was safe within them. even chase, whom he had traveled and trained with didn't have that much trust placed within him; the boy was a lot more apathetic to humans than he was to the little pocket monsters. he stood up just as the pikachu downed the rest of her apple-flavored treat; "let's go."
smirking, the teenager recalled his mantine, and in his stead, released mina, a chimecho as he made his way towards the game center. he was broke, but that wasn't going to stop him from trying to win some money.

Leah stopped to take a look around the fairly large city. This was one of the few times she actually traveled to the Kanto region. She didn't visit often, but Kanto was next to Johto so she figured she could go any time and took her time visiting other regions. Celadon was a busy place, as it seemed. People hustling and bustling around, she liked the fact it was so active.
Beside at her feet, Hash was there in his Ditto form. Leah took a final look at her surroundings before walking into the crowd as well. She was careful not to bump into anyone or let anyone bump into her. Her parents always said to be careful around other people, you never knew what kind of disease they carried. Hash followed Leah at the feet, but he was soon distracted by something. He wandered off to find that thing, it was shiny.
"Hey Hash. Wha-" Leah stopped her sentence when she noticed her blob of purpler was no longer at her feet.
She looked around quickly, seeing if she could find that Pokemon. He was gone, that or he was lost in the crowd of people and feet. She needed help, the help of a person no less. Everyone seemed so busy, and didn't seem to care when the upset breeder ran past them. She needed someone's help. 'What about a Trainer?' Leah wondered.
Her eyes scanned the crowd for a Pokemon. She found a person walking with two Pokemon. A Pikachu and a Chimecho, now that was a sight. Leah shook her head mentally, all she needed to do was go up and ask if he had seen a ditto run past. He was a trainer by the looks of with the two Pokemon. he would know what a ditto looked like right?
Leah rushed up to him, her long blue hair trailing behind her.
" 'scuse me. Did you happen to see a ditto run past here?" She asked. "Small, purple ... Ditto like?"
'Ditto like? Really? Was that all you could think of Leah?' Leah thought to herself. She really had no idea how to describe a Ditto.
(( ooc: derp fail. i hope it was all right : \ i'm sorry if it was a fail ))

(('s okish.))
a blue-haired girl had just approached him. eyebrow quirked, the boy glanced back at her. she seemed a little soft-spoken, the type of gentle girl that would pretty much ask for help ... mind, he wasn't particular about helping, but looking for a ditto was like looking for a needle in a haystack. that and the description of ditto-like wasn't really helpful. what the ditto could turn into would have been more helpful, really ... but zafaar wasn't in the mood to question her. he was more interested in the games and winning some quick money; he didn't want to rely on whatever meager amount of scrap chase had in his pouch - it wasn't a lot. it never was.
he eyed the girl. "no," he responded. it was evident from his response that he hadn't seen a ditto - if leah was in a spot of bad luck, the more unscrupulous of the managers would have just grabbed her pokémon and made a run for it. looking for it, then, would be even more impossible of a task. that was not entirely worth the effort for the imperia, though he understood how it was to lose a pokémon, someone, something. "try someone else."
it sounded terrible, horrid, cold. his crimson eyes were on her blue ones. "ikram," he mentioned the pikachu's name; she sat bolt upright and shook herself. the rodent had been busy trying to get a closer look at the girl; she looked interesting, not like any other girl. there was something that reminded her of someone. perhaps it was leah's bone structure. or her hair. ikram squirmed atop zafaar's shoulder. the boy could be so harsh sometimes. couldn't he stop to smell the roselia?
"like that guy over there." zafaar gave a curt nod to a taller, blond-haired man; he had a larger, stronger pokémon that would certainly be able to help. with a final glance at leah, he turned and continued walking. he had done his part to help. the rest was up to her.
