((lunar ^____^))
after fruitful encounters in first castelia, then striaton, zafaar had decided that it was time he escaped to somewhere more idyllic, and continue upon his generally unsuccessful endeavors to be unproductive. this time, he chose undella town, which was still within unova. sadly, it was still within traveling distance for chase, whom zafaar was really sure would crack down with numerous tasks had he found him lounging around on khalif doing absolutely nothing - zero responsibilities, kittens saved: nada. however, the teenager decided to take the risk of being jumped by an overly-muscular man with overly-trained dragons. fifteen minutes of doing nothing was worth it.
"khalif," he addressed the mantine that he was lying on, "so we're here." the boy had an eye on his pokégear, which had the map function switched on. his location was marked by a red dot amongst the blue of undella's beaches and seas. the mantine responded with a tip of his head; zafaar shifted slightly to accommodate the movement, but was otherwise unaffected. "the town of rippling waves." unlike usual times where he would be trekking on land with saladin, perhaps ikram as well, the beach was where he spent time with khalif and umnia, his reuniclus.
the mantine gurgled slightly. it certainly wasn't an impressive town. it was more of a seaside resort for the rich - like that one place in sinnoh - where many of them owned their own villas or seaside huts. however, as autumn and winter inched closer, not many families were still here; the water was lacking in its usual sun-baked warmth - a chill had taken over the parts of the sea further out. the pokémon accustomed to colder weather had emerged as well, the trainer noted. the usual cluster of corsola and remoraid that huddled under khalif's wings were gone, perhaps, for they had no need for shade from the sun.
"what a nice view," he finally commented as the waves lapped against the beach. the tide was rising; soon, the sandcastles the remaining children had built in front of their huts, villas, mansions, all over the beach, would be washed away.

MADE BY NEMO ON POKEMOSHIKA FOR LUNAR. STRICTLY FOR POKEMOSHIKA. | [atrb=style, vertical-align: top;] The sound of laughter was heard as Opal rushed towards the rushing tides that crashed on the shores of the beach. Stopping to where the waves soaked her feet, she grinned brightly as she took out three Pokeballs. Throwing them towards the ocean, they released her Water type Pokemon. Neptune the Kingdra swam towards his mistress and motioned for her to join them. Nodding in reply, Opal dashed into the ocean and all three of her Pokemon swam towards her. Laughing softly, she dove underwater with a deep intake of breath and opened her eyes to view the passing by water type Pokemon. It was such a joy to be in the ocean again, Opal thought. It was like being home once again. Neptune stopped by herside and nuzzled her cheek, making her smile as she continued to hold her breath underwater. Wrapping her arms around his neck, he began to dive down further into the sea, exploring the unfamiliar area. It was beautiful, Opal thought. It was like another paradise. After what seemed like hours, she felt the need for air. Signaling her partner that she needed air, Neptune nodded and took her up to the surface. Gasping for air, Opal laughed as she hugged her Kingdra close, then turned towards the shore to see a boy, watching her. tags • zafaar words • 000 notes • heya! :3 |

((yo. xD sorry it's short.))
oh crap. he looked like a stalker now, didn't he?
actually, it wasn't that bad. zafaar didn't notice opal during his cursory scan of the beaches. he was under the impression that most of the children were already gone from the area, and whoever remained was probably indoors, considering the chilly winds that were gusting outside. even he had trouble keeping his hair out of his eyes; his cap was safely tucked within his backpack in case he lost it. what mattered now was that the female didn't get the wrong idea ... or something. whatever it was, the fairer sex had the tendency to take things in an overly-extreme manner. what made it worse was that he couldn't incur their wrath without getting his head sliced off with words.
he gestured to khalif, tapping the mantine upon his broad forehead twice. the stingray started to move closer to opal and neptune. zafaar was holding out on the odd chance that the girl was someone he knew or had seen before, but he was in unova, so chances were high that she was a stranger. he didn't expect anyone to be out further than the wading areas; it couldn't possibly be a child, he mused as they neared her. "hey, practicing for a tournament?" he spoke, voice calm, face expressionless as he glanced at opal.
