His father, Aubrey Falle Wayne Sr. was the manager of the PokeMart chain throughout Kanto, while his mother was a nurse at the Viridian City Pokemon Center. Aubrey has been around pokemon most of his life, often venturing out as a young boy into Viridian City, only with his father's Charizard, and his mother's Poliwrath. From the young age of seven, he knew he wanted to be a trainer. Once he turned ten, one would've expected him to be ready to journey, but Aubrey deemed himself too young. On his sixteenth's birthday, he received a Bulbasaur from the professor in the town over from them. It was then that he wanted to start his journey, deciding not to venture Kanto but rather, a region he had recently heard of. Aubrey has been traveling Unova for about a year now, capturing many pokemon along the way and battling many gyms. He heads toward the Unova Pokemon league, two more gyms in his way of becoming Unova League Champion. Terra seemed to click with Aubrey the second the two met, and quickly boarded the ferry along her trainer happily. Terra evolved into Ivysaur during her battle with Chili's Pansear, and her spunk has intensified since then. Terra then evolved into a Venasaur during her battle against Skyla's Swanna, which is her hardest battle to date. She pushed herself harder than in her battle, and revealed one of her new techniques; Frenzy Plant. Since she's a Kanto Pokemon, she's received some pretty odd looks from other pokemon, but that doesn't stop her. This spunky chica is Aubrey's main pokemon, and upon becoming a Venasaur, became a main powerhouse, utilizing power grass moves such as Solar Beam and Frenzy Plant.  Zeus︱Electric︱ Zebstrika︱Male Zeus is the first pokemon Aubrey caught in Unova. Zeus was a young Blitzle who initially was lost, somehow managing to get himself over to Route One. It was there he met Aubrey and Terra, where he attacked them out of fright. Terra successfully knocked the electric pokemon out, and Aubrey caught him without a hitch. Zeus, at first, wasn't happy with his new family, and attempted to run away several times, up until the accident in Wellspring Cave, when they were attacked by a group of Woobats. He saw how caring his new family was, and fully accepted them at that moment. While on this journey with Aubrey, he hoped to reunite with his family, but upon meeting them once more, his father was displeased with him for journeying with a human. Zeus wanted to show how good of a human Aubrey was, and battling against his father, showing how much him and Aubrey were in a sync. Zeus then realized that Aubrey, Terra, Apollo, Buzz, and Kruz were his new family, and after winning the battle and attaining his father's approval, he continued on the journey with Aubrey. Zeus is one of the powerhouses on Aubrey's current team, and has strong moves such as Shock Wave and Spark. It is interesting to know that Zeus is the only pokemon that hasn't fallen in battle so far (while on Aubrey's active team).  Apollo︱Flying︱Unfezant︱Female Apollo was caught while Aubrey was being shown around Pinwheel Forest by Nurse Shery. It was during this time, the duo encountered an injured Pidove. Aubrey helped nurse the pokemon back to health, and then out of gratitude, Apollo accompanied him. Apollo is a fierce, sexist pokemon, the only male she likes is Aubrey. It is extremely surprising that she wasn't apprehensive about joining the male trainer. She evolved into a Tranquil during her battle with Nurse Shery, after she met her for the second time. Apollo then evolved into an Infezant during the third try at the Nimbasa Gym battle, and showcased one her new moves; Aerial Ace. Not every strong, she makes up for it with her speed and fortitude.  Kruz︱Water︱Dewott︱Male Kruz is extremely brash, show-boaty, and arrogant. Seeing as he's the newest pokemon on Aubrey's team, the young Dewott believes he has something to prove to his other, extremely mature teammates. Kruz was given to Aubrey during his time in Nuvema Town, when he was with his friend Leo. Upon meeting Leo again in Mistralton City, they battled for the first time, and despite losing to Leo's Palpitoad, Kruz still evolved into a Dewott. As a Dewott, he learned several new moves to add to his arsenal, such as Water Pulse and Razor shell, but still retains some old moves like Water Gun, Air Slash, and Night Slash.  Buzz︱Psychic/Flying︱Swoobat︱Male Buzz was the first pokemon Aubrey encountered in Wellspring Cave, and the only pokemon he caught during his time in there. Buzz was apart of a clan of Woobats, and the weakest at that, often being bullied by the other members. His clansmen saw him lose his battle against Buzz's Ivysaur, and kicked him from the group, for losing to a foreign pokemon. Aubrey decided to capture the pokemon during his exile, and Buzz learned that the human wasn't so bad. Buzz is considered extremely friendly toward random pokemon, unlike his former clansmen, and is a skilled fighter in battle. Buzz was used in Aubrey's battle against Burgh, defeating the first pokemon but losing to the gym leader's Dwebble. Buzz evolved during Aubrey's encounter with a experienced young prodigy named Joe. Buzz evolved in a battle against Joe's Infernape, which inspired Aubrey to head to Sinnoh after his time at Unova, and successfully beat his opponent. Aubrey looked aggravated, his shoulders perked up, his body slightly forward, his blue orbs well hidden behind his tightly shut eyelids. The boy groaned in obvious discomfort, his posture changing, crossing right arm over his chest, his hand on the crook of his left elbow, his left arm bent upward, his hand scratching his untamed hair. Aubrey wasn't making any coherent noises besides grunts and groans, with an occasionally stomping of the foot each time he turned around, looking off in each direction, searching for something he obviously couldn't find. God, was Aubrey frustrated? Nope. He was more on the lines of absolutely infuriated. Every damn town he's been in, he's always had the same problem; he could never find the gym. It was getting kind of annoying. Every time, he'd say he couldn't find it, then when he stopped looking for it, it was somewhere extremely obviously. But, now he was in the bustling city of Nimbasa, and the fact there were large buildings everywhere didn't seem to be helping that much, or at all, actually. Plopping down onto the asphalt, he scrunched his face, bending his knees, and resting his elbows on them, dropping his head in displeasure. "Where the hell is the gym...?" he whispered, to no one in particular. Aubrey raised his head, his blue eyes blank and distant. The teen brought his hand up to the face, resting his chin on his palm and sighing. A hand was brought up to the cross-shaped necklace located on his necklace, fumbling with it, his fingers rubbing the lower part of it over and over. While Aubrey sat there, a capsule clipped to his belt began to vibrate, and the one in center expanded, slamming against his waist and the other pokeballs violently. Aubrey yelped in surprise, and straightened his legs, looking down at the pokeball. The capsule seemingly tore itself from his belt, and rolled onto his leg, off and onto the smooth asphalt. The red and white sphere opened, a white beam shooting out and taking shape right next to the boy, who didn't seem that surprised by it anymore. The beam took the shape of a quadrupedal dinosaur-like creature with green skin, with even green patches on it and a large budding flower growing on its back. Terra, the Ivysaur, stood there, sitting and staring at her trainer. It always seemed that she could sense when her trainer was sad or distressed, after all, they did know each other for five months now, and in those five months; they've gotten to know each other, and became extremely close. Aubrey smiled at Terra, petting the pokemon, who responded with a low, cute growl. "Aw, Terra, I love you and all, but you can't just pop out without warning!" He commented, chuckling and completely forgetting about his gym dilemma. Terra did what looked like a shrug, and Aubrey chuckled again. The blond picked up Terra's pokeball, and stood up, dusting his back off, and then looked down at Terra. "I think I should feed you and the gang now. Ya' think so?" He said, and Terra threw herself at her trainer's leg in joy. Aubrey took that as a yes, and began to walk towards the pokemon center, which wasn't that far from him, Terra trudging along right behind him. As he closed on the center, his blue eyes laid upon a disheartened figure, holding a feline-like pokemon in her arms, cradling it softly. As he passed the center, he and Terra stopped in front of the blue-haired girl, a concern look on the fifteen year old's face. Aubrey pursed his lips, and held a hand up, waving to the lady in an attempt to grab her attention. "Hey, ma'am." he started. "Are you feeling alright?" Terra looked up at the aqua haired teen, her big, crimson hues wide in anticipation for the answer. [/style] |
