HISTORY:
Matt was born in Driftveil City, Unova. He lived in a normal home, and had a normal family of four, the last member being his sister. However, Matt was most absolutely, NOT normal. His parents, just like any supportive couple would, wanted for him to go on a pokémon journey, and have fun with his life. Matt was scared to face the world and refused to go, disappointing his parents, although they didn't show it.
Finally, at the age of seventeen, Matt went to go see a pokémon contest with his mother. He thought everything about them were beautiful, the battles, and the appeals. Just EVERYTHING. Matt was encouraged by his family to go, and take the path of a coordinator. Finally, at the age of 17, he left, in hopes of becoming the world's greatest Coordinator.
Matt has had his ups and downs in his journey, but he managed to catch a successful pokémon team along the way. It was a bumpy ride for him, but it is the only road true to his heart. Matt is currently working on becoming a better coordinator, as well as a breeder. He is also working on becoming a more confident and bold person in general.[/style]

Matt received Wilbur from his good professor friend, Prof. Juniper. Wilbur is kind, but he can be crazy at times, especially when there's a lot on the line.

Matt caught Horus in the Relic Castle, after overcoming his fear of ghosts. Horus is calm, but very mysterious, and often creeps others out.
Charlotte︱Bug, Electric︱Joltik︱Female
Charlotte was caught in the Chargestone Cave, so Matt could overcome his fear of spiders. Charlotte is kind, and helpful, and she can always get the team out of a pinch.
Odette︱Water, Flying︱Swanna︱Female
To conquer his terrible fear of flying, Matt set out to the Marvelous Bridge, in order to catch a Swanna. Odette is graceful, and a true dancer at heart.
Spikes︱Rock︱Roggenrola︱Male
Matt caught Spikes in the wellspring cave so he could compete in contests. Spikes is hyper and loves to headbutt Matt right in the stomache.
Aroma︱Grass︱Lilligant︱Female
Matt saw this pokémon while training. Deeming it perfect for contests, he caught it. Aroma is elegant and lady-like.

This is just some random Red post I did quite a while ago.
Red slowly walked forward as the young trainer spoke. With his attitude, the smirking, the overconfidence, he'd never be mature enough to be champion. Red noticed the look that his Typhlosion gave him, probably meaning that Ty was too tired for a battle. That was good, because Pika was too. Besides, it was quite hot out.
"Hi Gold. It's nice to see you again." Red greeted back, smiling to his competitor as he spoke. The young boy had so much heart, and would train to defeat him no matter what it took. Red was actually looking forward to the day when Gold challenged him again, because he was longing for a good battle. The small Phanpy came over to him, and rubbed against his legs. Red looked down at the little blue elephant, and smiled at him, before he ran away to his trainer again.
"Cute Phanpy." Red commented on the Pokémon, switching glances to Gold. He was cute indeed, and Red could only wonder if the little pokémon was training as well.
"Are you training him as well?" Red wondered out loud to Gold. He had been training his Pokémon as well, especially his newly caught Kangaskhan.
